Russia is preparing a letter to Armenia on the consolidation of the norms of the EU and the rules of the EEU. Oatchuk

Russia is preparing a letter to Armenia that the norms of Yerevan and the European Union are contrary to the rules of the Eurasian Economic Union. As reported by Armenpress, this was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, answering the question of TASS agency.

"Russia is a letter to Armenia on the contradiction of its new norms and the rules of the Eurasian Economic Union," said the Russian Deputy Prime Minister.

On 26 March 255, the Armenian parliament adopted the law on the beginning of the EU's accession to the European Union, which was presented by the Civilian "Euro-" initiative. After that, a group of Russian officials stated that membership in the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union are incompatible, and Armenia must make a choice between the two structures at some point. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated at a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on May 21 that Armenia did not apply for EU membership.
