The BRICS countries cooperate for the welfare of their people, not against anyone, Russian President Vladimir Putin said while speaking at the BRICS Business Forum, TASS reports.

"The work of BRICS is not directed against anyone. It is aimed at only one common goal: the sustainable development and prosperity of our countries and peoples," the head of the Russian Federation emphasized.
