The 3+3 platform, which was created after the signing of the document on November 9, 2020 (10) and provides for a ceasefire regime in the second Karabakh war, is the basis for discussing the processes taking place in the South Caucasus.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced this during his speech at the third meeting of the 3+3 cooperation platform in Istanbul.

Fidan believes that the problems of the South Caucasus can be solved by the countries of the region themselves. The Turkish minister added that a joint statement will be adopted based on the results of the meeting.

In addition, the Turkish minister called on the Georgian side to join the platform in order to find joint solutions to regional problems, as it gives the countries of the region an opportunity to assess the possibilities of cooperation.
