Fishing ship: Mobile Energy Station

The British company Drift Energy offers an innovative approach, creating a ship that will produce electricity with underwater turbines during the movement and immediately turn it into hydrogen. A similar system will operate as a mobile renovated source of energy, not requiring land infrastructure.

The ship will be guided by a special algorithm, searching for optimal wind conditions in the seas, making energy production more efficient. The company plans to build more powerful ships in the next two years, which will produce up to 150,000 kg of hydrogen in the energy sector.

In addition to hydrogen production, these ships can become ocean research centers or climatic data collection, contributing to global energy collection and innovative technologies, Reuters reports.
