Pakistan expects that the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will contribute to the socio-economic development of the participating countries and promote peace and stability in the region. This was stated by Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif in his welcoming address to the participants of the SCO CST."
The participation of representatives of all SCO members in this event testifies to the strength of ties between our countries, Sharif said. “We expect that this summit will contribute to the socio-economic development of the participating countries, as well as the promotion of peace and stability in the region.”
