Ukrainian troops in Selidovo found themselves in a situation in which they would either have to surrender or die, said retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis on the YouTube channel Deep Dive.
“They will either have to surrender, or the troops will die on the spot, because they will not have brigades, ammunition and supplies,” he said.
According to the officer, Russian troops continue to actively advance in this direction. At the same time, they practically blocked the routes for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Selidovo, Davis concluded.
Earlier on Tuesday, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel that there are all the prerequisites for covering this city. Last week, his adviser reported that the Russian military is already taking the populated area in pincers.
