RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan met with the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund, Yirun Kleik. Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the RA macroeconomic situation, the implementation of structural benchmarks under the support of the Foundation, as well as a number of important issues related to the draft IMF Economic and Financial Policy Memorandum. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance.
Minister Hovhannisyan noted that in the process of developing and implementing policies, the RA Ministry of Finance is guided exclusively by the IMF program.
The Minister expressed hope that the established close political dialogue will continue with the foundation in the future, and all the necessary measures will be taken to reach the supported benchmarks within the framework of the IMF program.
