On April 2, a meeting of Armenian and Vietnam businessmen took place in Yerevan, organized by the RA Ministry of Economy and the joint initiative of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam.
RA NA Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan and the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam issued a welcoming speech.
The official opening was followed by a meeting between representatives of the business community of Armenia and Vietnam, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy Edgar Zakaryan, representatives of other state agencies.
"Cooperation between Armenia and Vietnam is developing harmoniously and I think that today's meeting and the events on different platforms will allow businessmen to exchanged expert opinions, discuss mutual proposals and establish new business connections," said Edgar Zakaryan.
About 80 businessmen from two countries participated in the round table, mining, oil industry, textile industry, tobacco production, IT, Logistics services, international cargo, tourism, investment, medical services, business consulting, etc.
