Georgia has appointed new ambassadors to Austria, the UAE, Uzbekistan and Belarus, as well as representatives in various international organizations.


Alexander Maisuradze became the Georgian Ambassador to Austria, as well as the permanent representative in other international organizations located in the OSCE and Vienna. Georgia's diplomatic mission in the UAE will be headed by Giorgi Janjganavan. Since 1994, he has held various positions in the Georgian Foreign Ministry, in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Iran and Pakistan.


David Kotarya, who has previously been the post of Belarusian ambassador to Uzbekistan, has become Georgia's ambassador to Uzbekistan.
