Merkel spoke about Trump-Zelensky dispute

Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel said it would be better to see the quarrel of US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in the White House. His words quoted Berliner Zeitung.

"I don't want to comment on all this. I will only say that I would prefer not to see this meeting, "he said.

According to him, this meeting "has seen all Russia", including Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Merkel said that the conversation was "very depressing" and added that he would never want to witness such events.

Negotiations between Ukrainian and American leaders in Washington took place on February 28, which ended with a verbal argument. During the conversation, Trump accused Zelensky of refusing to stop the fire and disrespect his country.
