India announces intention to fight illegal migration with US

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India and the United States will work together to combat illegal migration and eliminate human trafficking.

"Those who are illegally in other countries do not have the legal right to do so.

As far as India and the United States are concerned, we have always said that those who are truly Indian citizens and are illegally residing in the United States, then we are ready to return them," he said during a press conference.

Modi noted that among the illegal migrants in the United States there are people from ordinary families who went after their dreams but became victims of the human trafficking system. Modi said that the United States and India must work together to thoroughly destroy this system.
