European countries should participate in possible negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, the joint statement of the foreign ministers in the “Weimar Triangle Plus” format says, TASS reports.
“We look forward to discussing further steps with our American allies. Our common goal should be to strengthen Ukraine’s position.
Ukraine and Europe should be involved in any negotiations,” the document published on the French Foreign Ministry website says. The foreign ministers stressed that “a just and lasting peace in Ukraine is a necessary condition for stable transatlantic security.”
