German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock was alarmed by the conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and White House President Donald Trump. Her statement was quoted by Politico.
“Peace can only be achieved together, and that means we must walk this path together so that peace returns to Europe.”
After talks with Putin, Trump, commenting on the question of whether he sees no danger in the removal of Vladimir Zelensky from the dialogue with Russia, answered in the negative.
The two leaders had a telephone conversation the night before. It lasted about an hour and a half.
Commenting on the conversation, the US president said that he intends to have frequent telephone contacts with Putin.
