Hamas delays release of new group of hostages

The Palestinian radical Hamas movement has postponed the release of a new group of hostages in the Gaza Strip due to Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement. The hostages were supposed to return home on February 15. This was stated by Abu Ubayda, a representative of the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.

"Over the past three weeks, we have seen constant violations of the terms of the deal by the enemy. In this regard, we have decided to postpone the release of the prisoners, who were supposed to be released on February 15," the statement said.

However, it was not specified when the process would resume.
