In Russia, a bill to reduce the working week for an hour

Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans, has developed a bill to define a decreased working week for an hour. This was reported by TASS, noting that it has a copy of the document sent to the government's approval, which proposes to amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

"On the eve of the weekend, the duration of the working day or shift is reduced by an hour, maintaining the established working time standard," the bill said.

According to Nilov, the parties to working relations have the right to reduce the working hours of Friday, but "it is appropriate to fix this norm in the current conditions."
