Armenian citizens deported from Georgia


In 2024, 363 foreign citizens were deported from Georgia, which is 91% more than the previous year. In 2023, 190 foreign citizens were deported from the country. This is evidenced by the statistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reports Jnews.

In particular, according to the data for 2024, the following were deported from Georgia: Azerbaijan - 71 citizens, Iran - 54 citizens, India - 33 citizens, Turkey - 31 citizens, Nigeria - 31 citizens, Iraq - 21 citizens, Russia - 20 citizens, Egypt - 18 citizens, China - 15 citizens, Jordan - 15 citizens. Also, last year, 10 citizens of Turkmenistan and Pakistan, 4 citizens each of Libya and Sri Lanka, and 3 citizens of Bangladesh were deported from Georgia.

In addition, law enforcement officers have deported citizens of Australia, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Armenia and others. According to the same data, 190 foreign citizens were deported from Georgia in 2023.

The largest number of them - 41 citizens - were from Azerbaijan, 32 from Iran, 27 from India, 13 from Russia, 9 from Nigeria, 9 from Egypt, 8 from China, 8 from Turkey, etc.
