A magnitude 7.6 earthquake shook the Caribbean in the Caribbean at 03:30. The hearth was located at a depth of 10 km.

The epicenter was reported 209 km from Georgetown (Kayman Islands, Great Britain). The underground shocks were felt in a number of countries and the islands of the Caribbean. Tsunami's danger was announced in Colombia, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Aruba and Saba (Netherlands).
