Georgia will continue its pragmatic policy towards Russia. Kebakhidze

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze does not see the opportunity to restore diplomatic relations with Russia and claims that Moscow is violating the territorial integrity of the republic. The politician stated this in an interview with Euronews.

"We have no diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation and there is no space to restore diplomatic relations.

Due to the so-called recognition of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali. But we pursue a pragmatic policy, and this is the main component of our policy in relations with Russia, "Kobakhidze said.

Despite the lack of diplomatic relations, Kobakhidze stressed the continuation of Georgia's economic and trade cooperation with Russia, expressing its intention to maintain that approach in the future.

In the case of territorial integrity, the Prime Minister noted the inadmissibility of a force solution, emphasizing the need for a peaceful settlement.
