The Ministry of Defense of India has canceled the supply contracts of 400 drones with Chinese components

The Indian Ministry of Defense has canceled three contracts to supply 400 transport drones with a local company due to the use of Chinese production details in them. This was reported by The Times of India, citing the sources of the Defense Ministry.

"Unfortunately, some Indian companies use the production of unmanned aerial vehicles for the Armed Forces, due to the ability of the unmanned aeriality to disperse the drone," the source said.

Control over the use of Chinese components on Indian drones was strengthened after the control of 180 intelligent drones along the Indian border in 2024.

During the military adoption of the drones, control and inspections should be completely excluded the use of Chinese parts and harmful programs in computer software. Manufacturers of Indian drones have been advised to stop the import of components from China.
