US Secretary of State Marco Rubions intends to take a working tour of the Middle East in mid-February. This was reported by Axios portal, citing sources. The Secretary of State is expected to take part in the Munich Security Conference starting on February 14, after which he will leave for the Middle East.

"Israeli officials and two knowledgeable sources told Axios that Rubio plans to leave Munich to the region and visit Israel, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and other countries," he said.

The State Department told Palestinian officials that Rubio will visit the Palestinian autonomy if it goes to Israel.
