The President of the Central African Republic (CAR) Faustin-Archangel Touadera will leave for Moscow on January 14, where he plans to meet with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. His press secretary Albert Mokpem informed RIA Novosti about this. Tuadera plans to spend 3-4 days in Russia.
"The visit of the president to Moscow has been confirmed. The whole trip will take 5 days by flight, so 3-4 days in Moscow. There will be a personal meeting with President Putin," Mokpem said.
In November, the leaders of the Russian Federation and the Central African Republic had a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the current state of development of bilateral relations between the countries and possible
directions in various fields, including political, economic and humanitarian issues.
Thoughts were also exchanged on the situation in the region, emphasizing joint efforts to fight against terrorist threats and ensure security in the republic.
