A curfew has been declared in Los Angeles

A curfew has been imposed in the US city of Los Angeles due to the spread of fires. This is reported by the Los Angeles Times, citing Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna.

The sheriff said the department is working to implement a curfew that will be in effect from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. in "special impact areas around the two fire zones," according to the report.

It is clarified that we are talking about the Ito and Pacific Palisades areas. The curfew will be effective from January 10.

According to Luna, the increased security measures are due to the fact that the spread of fires has led to an increase in looting cases, with security forces detaining around 20 people suspected of theft in recent days.
