Azerbaijan has temporarily stopped gas supply to Bulgaria for technical reasons, according to the message of gas distribution company Bulgargaz EAD.
It is noted that the break did not result in additional costs for the purchase of replacement natural gas.
Bulgaria has a contract with Azerbaijan for the annual supply of 1 billion cubic meters of gas.
Earlier, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said that he met the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, when the latter asked to increase the volumes of gas supplies from the republic to Europe.
