The state of Alaska has filed a lawsuit against the outgoing administration of US President Joe Biden over restrictions imposed by the federal government on oil and gas production. This was reported by Reuters on Tuesday.

The newly elected US President Donald Trump promised earlier that on the first day after taking office, he would cancel all restrictions on energy production introduced by Biden. He also announced that he would reopen the Arctic National Reserve for oil and gas extraction.
