The members of the commission investigating the crash of the passenger plane in Aktau will arrive in Astana in the next few days with the materials decoded from the black boxes found from the crashed airliners. This is reported by the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan on the official Telegram channel. "Upon arrival, the experts will immediately begin to study the data decoded from the recorders of the said flight," the agency said. The black boxes of the crashed plane were sent to Brazil.
Commenting on the situation, the President of Kazakhstan, Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, said that such a decision was made to ensure the objectivity of the investigation. The accident of the Embraer passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines took place on the morning of December 25 in the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan.
The plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed in the territory of the local airport. Shortly before the accident, the crew of the plane requested an emergency landing. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, there were a total of 69 people on the plane. 29 of them survived.
