Driving license will not be mandatory for drivers in Armenia soon. The RA Ministry of Internal Affairs has distributed a video and a message about this.
"Soon, drivers will not have to have a driver's license with them. if the driver does not have a driver's license, but he has the right to drive, and this is confirmed by a program check by a patrol officer, then he is not subject to administrative responsibility. Driving a vehicle will be criminalized if a person does not have a driver's license, but drives a vehicle, thereby appearing in a privileged status compared to other drivers and endangering the lives of other road participants, then he will first be subject to administrative and then criminal liability.
The procedure for driving a car with a foreign driver's license in RA will be simplified for RA citizens with dual citizenship," said the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
