Clashes broke out between protesters and police in Tbilisi (video)



In Tbilisi, where a mass protest is taking place, clashes began between the gathered and the police. The Ministry of Internal Affairs informed about one injured employee, Rustavi 2 reports. The injured police officer was hospitalized.
The police promised an "appropriate response" to illegal activities.
President of the Republic Salome Zurabishvili arrived in Tbilisi for the rally.

He accused the authorities of carrying out a "constitutional coup" and called on the representatives of the diplomatic corps of the EU countries to help him and the opposition achieve the appointment of new parliamentary elections in the country.
