President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made a speech in the French Parliament. According to Reuters, he referred to information that Moscow is ready to stop military operations and negotiate only if the situation on the ground is taken into account. Zelensky stressed that the temporary ceasefire will enable the Russian side to attack with new momentum. He also rejected any scenario of territorial concessions in exchange for a ceasefire. "Ukraine has no right to lose. The key to the security of all Europe is in Ukraine," Zelensky emphasized. He once again called on the Western partners to strengthen their support to Kyiv, particularly in the field of air defense, as well as to provide military aircraft to the Ukrainian army.
