The prices of the Russian car manufacturer "AvtoVAZ" may increase next year, due to the high interest rate and the dollar exchange rate. According to ntv.ru, the president of the company Maxim Sokolov told journalists about this.
According to "AvtoVAZ" estimates, this year the number of passenger cars in the domestic market will reach 1.7 million units, and next year - 1.3-1.4 million. Despite the pessimistic forecasts, the company does not intend to reduce its plans. In 2025, the manufacturer wants to release 500,000 cars, launch new projects and enter the Iranian market.
