Today, September 4, a stunt car accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 00:05 on the Artashat highway, 33-year-old Silva K., a resident of Syunik region, crashed into a concrete barrier of the dividing zone and ended up on it, reports Shamshyan.com.
As a result of the accident, the driver and passenger were taken to the Erebuni Medical Center with bodily injuries.
A combat crew from the 6th fire and rescue squad of the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia promptly arrived at the scene.
The rescuers turned off the power to the car and conducted a duty on site.
A criminal case has been initiated in the investigation department regarding the accident, where the identity of the car owner and the injured passenger is being established.
According to the website, the driver underwent a sobriety test and was found to be intoxicated, and as a result of the collision, the right front wheel of the car was torn off and thrown out.
