On August 30, at around 12:20, a citizen approached the officers of the 4th Battalion of the Yerevan Regiment of the Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police, who were on duty on Northern Avenue, and reported that his mobile phone had been openly stolen.
The patrol officers immediately pursued, arrested on reasonable suspicion of robbery, and transferred a 20-year-old young man, a resident of the city of Hrazdan, to the Central Department of the Community Police. The mobile phone was found during his personal search.
The compiled documents were submitted to the preliminary investigation body.
