The "Strong Armenia" faction nominated Harutyun Harutyunyan for the position of the chairman of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly. He was represented in the parliament by Arega Hovsepyan, a deputy of the same faction. Harutyun Harutyunyan was born in 1986 in Yerevan.
In 2007, he graduated from the faculty of law of the French University in Armenia, and in 2009, he graduated from the same university's master's degree.
In 2003-2007, he was the president of the "Alliance Jeunesse" union, and in 2007-2008, he was the president of the student council of the French University in Armenia.
In 2006-2007, he worked at "Baghramyan Polyclinic and Mother and Child Protection Center" CJSC as a lawyer. In 2008-2011, he was an assistant judge of the RA Civil Appeal Court.
He has been practicing law since 2011. From 2012 to July 29, 2026, he was the director of "Legal Consulting Group" LLC.
In 2015-2024, he was a member of the Council of the RA Chamber of Advocates.
In 2019-2022, he worked at "Academician S. Avdalbekyan National Institute of Healthcare" CJSC as a lawyer.
In 2023-2024, he was in charge of judicial affairs of the "State Interests Fund of Armenia" CJSC. In 2021-2025, he was a member of the Committee on Ethics and Disciplinary Issues of the RA General Assembly of Judges.
In 2025, he was re-elected as a non-judge member of the same committee.
