"Hraparak" newspaper writes: Yesterday, the CP faction voted in its closed session on whether or not to elect the presidents of the commissions related to "Strong Armenia". They say that not everyone was in favor of not voting. There were speeches in favor of electing and not electing, then they voted separately for each candidate, but the supporters of not electing prevailed, and a political decision was made.
CP members say that it is a requirement of the law, it is clear that the opposition should lead committees, but they won't be elected from the very first time? They probably think that in this way they "subjugate" "Strong Armenia", forcing them to nominate a candidate several times, give speeches again and again, and answer dozens of questions that have nothing to do with those committees and candidates. They decided to "take it back and forth", not to choose several times, then in the end either choose to fulfill the law's requirement, or the opposition will get tired and refuse to participate in this process. However, if the law requires that the committees accessible to the opposition be headed by the representatives of the opposition, they should have elected the opposition's candidates without objection, because they "threw the slate" for the position of committee chairmen so much that Lulu, Trdat Sargsyan, Arusyak Julhakyan and others were elected as their chairmen.
