According to "Hraparak" information, on May 22, 2026, the day of the last call, an incident took place in Tigranashen secondary school. The dispute between the school employees and two residents of the village turned into a tug of war and a fight, as a result of which the law enforcement officers intervened in the incident. On the day of the last call, around 13:00, Aida Karapetyan and Hripsime Arzumanyan went to the school named after Paruyr Sevak in Tigranashen.
According to the law enforcement officers, they had an argument with the principal of the school, Melsida Grigoryan, cursed her, then entered the event room, continued the argument and damaged the classroom's property. During the argument, the women also beat the minor daughter of the school principal, Marina Arzumanyan.
The reason was that the girl tried to protect her mother, Aida Karapetyan slapped her, and Hripsime Arzumanyan hit her. Marina Arzumanyan received serious injuries in different parts of her body. After the incident, Aida Karapetyan and Hripsime Arzumanyan were arrested.
In the future, Hripsime Arzumanyan was banned from being absent, and Aida Karapetyan was placed under house arrest.
"Hraparak" tried to talk to the director of the school, Melsida Grigoryan, about the incident. The director refused to comment on the incident over the phone, stating that we should visit the village and talk on the spot. By the way, Tigranashen school is among the schools that will be closed this year. School-aged children of Tigranashen will go to Paruyr Sevak village school on September 1. Tigranashen is planned to be handed over to Azerbaijan under the name of an Azerbaijani enclave. the government neither confirms nor denies this information, declaring that these issues will be resolved within the framework of border demarcation.
