Since the start of Israel's new war with Lebanon on March 2, 2026, at least 4,348 people have died in the country. This is reported by Al Jazeera, referring to the data of the Ministry of Public Health of Lebanon.
Among the victims are 393 women and 257 children. Another 12,307 people received injuries of various degrees.
According to the department, among the dead were also citizens of other countries, including 537 Syrians and 234 Palestinians. At least 32 Lebanese soldiers were killed.
Israeli military operations have also caused significant damage to Lebanon's health care system. At least 17 hospitals were damaged, 179 attacks on medical workers were recorded, and 39 ambulances were destroyed.
