On August 15, Acting RA Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan took part in the celebrations of the 975th anniversary of the founding of the Kyiv-Pechoryan Motherland in Kyiv.
Within the framework of the events, Vahan Kostanyan had short talks with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Director General of UNESCO Khaled El-Enani, the Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization Sheikha Al Nois and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrey Sibiha.
During the talks with the President of Ukraine and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vahan Kostanyan conveyed to them the congratulations of the RA top leadership on the occasion of the celebration and emphasized the historical and spiritual significance of the Motherland, including in the context of centuries-old Armenian-Ukrainian historical and cultural ties.
Emphasizing the recently activated high-level political contacts and the positive dynamics of economic interaction, the interlocutors emphasized the importance of ensuring the continuity of the dialogue in order to enrich the Armenia-Ukraine bilateral agenda and further strengthen the relations.
