On August 15, 2026, the Vanadzor Medical Center received information about 6 hospitalized persons diagnosed with "intestinal infection".
According to the epidemiological research carried out by the specialists of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the RA Ministry of Health, it was found that all the patients participated in the same party on August 12.
Nausea, vomiting, pain in the epigastric region, general weakness, and in some cases, also diarrhea were recorded in the patients. All 6 persons are hospitalized.
During the epidemiological investigation, it was also found that after the event, some of the food was taken home and reused, after which complaints appeared.
The Lori regional center of the Food Safety Inspection Authority was informed about the incident in the prescribed manner.
