The Israeli Air Force struck a residential building in the village of Ansar in southern Lebanon, killing seven people and injuring three others, the Lebanese Ambulance Service told RIA Novosti. "Seven people were killed and three others were injured as a result of an airstrike on a house near Az-Zariya village on the outskirts of Ansar.
The house was completely destroyed," the source of the agency said. According to the source, the rescue teams continue to clear the rubble and bring out the dead and wounded.
Employees of the "Kashaf al-Risala al-Islamiyya" movement, the Islamic Health Committee, and the Lebanese civil defense ambulance are participating in the operation. The wounded are being transferred to hospitals in Nabatieh.
