The activities of the Mashtots community police to find the people stealing from cars gave results on the night of July 17. Around 1:30 am, two young people, 20 and 21 years old, residents of Yerevan, were arrested on Mazmanyan Street and taken to the department along with the "Tesla" car they were driving. They confessed to their actions last night. We are informed about this from the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In one case, young people stole the glass of the side mirrors from the "Mercedes" parked on Bashinjaghyan street of the capital and attached a telegram address to the car. They also posted a link to the same address on the windshield of a "Range Rover" car, having previously stolen the foreign license plate. And when the car owner contacted them, the boys demanded 40,000 drams in return for the number plate.
The young people and the prepared documents were submitted to the investigation department, where criminal proceedings were initiated.
The 20-year-old man was placed under house arrest, and the 21-year-old man was arrested and taken to a penitentiary.
