American billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced that the world's largest economies are on the path to destruction due to low birth rates.
"In 21 of the 27 EU countries, the death rate exceeds the birth rate. They are headed for destruction for a long time," Musk wrote on his social media page.
Musk was commenting on UN statistics published by the Financial Times on the birth rates of the world's largest economies, namely France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea and the United States, which show a decline in birth rates since the 1950s.
