The Ministry of Internal Affairs-rescue service has published new photos and details of the tragic accident that happened yesterday in Ararat Marz. On July 26, at 19:56, the operational control center of Ararat Marz was alerted that an accident occurred in Aigavan settlement with a fire.
One combat team from the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went to the scene of the incident.
It was found out that "Toyota", "VAZ" and "Volkswagen" cars collided on the M-2 highway, the bridge connecting Yeghegnavan-Aigavan settlements, as a result of which a fire broke out in the "Volkswagen" car.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, 4 victims were hospitalized. The fire was isolated at 20:13 and extinguished at 20:20. The car burned, the rescuers found the bodies of 3 citizens in the car.
The rescuers cut off the power to the cars and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
