Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the alliance relations between the two countries, the development of strategic cooperation, as well as cooperation and coordination within the framework of regional and international organizations, Azerbaijani media reported, referring to the country's Foreign Ministry.
According to the report, Fidan and Bayramov emphasized that "political dialogue and mutual support at the highest level continue to be the basis of relations between brotherly countries."
They also noted the importance of continuing close cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
In addition, Fidan and Bayramov exchanged views on the regional security situation, post-conflict processes and "steps taken to ensure peace and stability in the region".
