Music streaming service Apple Music and Chart Data, which deals with music statistics, have published the ranking of the 20 most listened-to artists in the history of the platform.
The list is based on more than 11 years of data, starting with the launch of Apple Music in June 2015. After the rating was published, the official Apple Music page reposted it, effectively confirming the official nature of the data presented.
At the top of the ranking is Drake, who has become the most listened to artist in the history of Apple Music. Taylor Swift took second place, becoming the most listened-to female artist in the history of the platform. The trio is completed by Future.
The rating shows the predominance of the hip-hop genre on the platform, although representatives of pop and country music are also on the list.
