The meeting of foreign ministers of Russia and Turkey took place in Moscow. Hakan Fidan stated that Ankara is ready to do everything possible to contribute to the cessation of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
He noted that it is about assuming the role of a mediator as well as providing a platform for negotiations.
Sergey Lavrov highly appreciated Turkey's sincere interest in achieving a fair, stable and long-term settlement in Ukraine.
The diplomats also discussed bilateral relations, developments in the Middle East, the Black Sea region.
Reference was made to the Caucasus and Asia.
Hakan Fidan will be in Russia on a working visit until June 17.
