GMA reports that at least 37 people were killed in the recent earthquake in the Philippines. On Monday, at 7:38 a.m. (at 2:38 a.m. Moscow time), a strong 7.8-magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Mindanao Island in the Philippines.
"Xinhua" news agency, referring to the local authorities, reported on Monday that the number of victims as a result of the earthquake reached 32. "The death toll from the earthquake off the coast of Mindanao now stands at 37," the news agency reported.
According to the portal, a total of 456 people were injured as a result of the earthquake, and four others are still considered missing.
