According to the Iran War Cost Tracker, US military spending on the Iran conflict has exceeded $85 billion in 79 days.
The portal's real-time calculator is based on a March 10 Pentagon briefing to the US Congress, which indicated that Washington had spent $11.3 billion in the first six days of hostilities in the Middle East and planned to spend an additional $1 billion on each subsequent day of the conflict.
According to the resource, the amount spent for these purposes is almost three times more than previously reported by the Deputy Minister of Finance Jules Hirst. At the meeting of the Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives, Hurst announced that Washington spent about 29 billion dollars on the military operation against Iran.
