"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan proudly announces that people buy houses with a mortgage, take a lot of credit, presenting the reality as an achievement. Actually, that picture is worrying. Why, because according to the December data of the RA Statistical Committee, the loans given to households increased by 31.1% and 26.3% of consumer and mortgage loans, respectively.
According to the research of "Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper, the rate of growth of consumer and mortgage loans by RA citizens is alarming, as this growth continues to significantly exceed the growth of citizens' incomes.
In other words, the incomes of the population - wages, remittances and other real assets - did not increase by the corresponding numbers during that time. But still, people take out loans. In other words, the significant difference between loans compared to incomes indicates that people are under loans."
