Russia has offered Iran services to export the country's surplus enriched uranium as a possible option that could lead to the elimination of current tensions for a number of countries. The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, announced this.
"Russia has long offered these services (regarding the export of enriched uranium surpluses) as a possible option that could contribute to the elimination of factors causing tension for a number of countries," Peskov told reporters, answering the question whether the possibility of transferring enriched uranium from Iran to Russia is being discussed with Iran and the United States.
