Steve Wittkoff, special envoy of the US president, called the day of the return of the remains of the last hostage of the Palestinian Hamas movement historic.

On Monday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officially announced that there are no more Israeli hostages left in the Gaza Strip. US President Donald Trump stated that the return operation of the body of the last hostage from the Gaza Strip was an "incredible achievement", which many considered impossible.
