"Yesterday it became known that the mayor of Gyumri, Vardan Ghukasyan, was transferred from the NSS isolation cell to the "Armenia" medical center. Armlur.am became aware of a remarkable circumstance regarding the persons detained in Vardan Ghukasyan's cell in the NSS isolation cell. In particular, according to the information we received, Gevorg Harutyunyan, who was detained in the case of killing Parakar community head Valodya Grigoryan, was in the same cell as Vardan Ghukasyan in the National Security Service's isolation cell.
As a result, "Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper received information that petitions were submitted to either change Ghukasyan's cell or transfer Gevorg Harutyunyan to another cell for security reasons. As a result, the petitions were satisfied and Gevorg Harutyunyan, detained in the case of killing Valodya Grigoryan, was transferred to another cell."
